Can I postpone/defer my BCPS exam due to a personal life event?

The answer depends on the testing modality for your exam.

Windowed exams

If you are registered for a windowed exam, a deferral may be available. Review the BPS Candidate Guide for deferral eligibility requirements and deadlines specific to your exam.

Continuous testing (CT) exams

If you are registered for a continuous testing (CT) exam, postponing or deferring is not available. Eligibility periods are fixed and cannot be extended.

• Expired applications cannot be reinstated. A new application and full fee will be required to reapply.
