Initial Certification Application Fee
The application fee for an initial BPS certification is $600 USD.
This fee applies to first-time applicants seeking BPS certification.
Initial Certification Examination Retake Fee
Candidates who do not pass an initial certification examination and are eligible to retake the examination may do so for a $300 USD retake fee.
Candidates are permitted a maximum of three examination attempts during a single application cycle (the initial examination plus up to two retakes).
If a candidate does not pass the examination after the third attempt, they must wait 365 days before submitting a new application, pay the $600 USD application fee, and meet all current eligibility requirements before testing again.
Recertification Examination Fee
The fee to take a recertification examination is $400 USD.
Recertification Examination Retake Fee
Candidates who do not pass a recertification examination and are eligible to retake the examination may do so for a $200 USD retake fee.
